RESILIENCE is about building long-term partnerships with educators and training providers across all levels. Whilst the Centre comprises four core delivery partners delivering specialist material based on their expertise, we will support training and outreach across 150+ schools, colleges, universities, RTOs, and NHS in the UK. An industry user forum, competitive pricing, and support to microSMEs with limited training budgets are all part of how we ensure a future-proof, sustainable business model. Digital training is strategically embedded throughout the Centre to improve environmental impact in teaching and learning, and enable future investment to drive institutional net zero standards.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) is a complex and challenging area to understand and address effectively. However we recognises that ED&I is critical for growth and sustainability of the UK medicines manufacturing workforce.
As part of the RESILIENCE programme we are working with the UK’s leading ED&I expert in the sector to ensure ED&I is embedded in our course design, community engagement and outreach, to a consistent standard across all delivery partners. We believe this will have significant positive impact for medicines manufacturing workforce development and enable partners to drive best practice in their organisations.
Digital Skills Competence
A major feature of our Centre is a first-ot-its-kind network of Digital Training Fellows, who coordinate and lead the integration of VR into CoE training and outreach, including onboarding of affiliate partners. The Digital Training Fellows act as champions for digital transformation within their institutions and are instrumental in driving systems change in how training is delivered in higher education and further education in the UK.
The roll out of VR by digital fellows enables consistency and standardisation in training components, as the software means training is replicated identically for all trainers and trainees, regardless of location.
