In this introductory course, trainees develop the hands-on skills required to perform within a downstream bioprocessing development role. Course content is tailored toward purification strategies for recombinant proteins and AAVs. Learning achieved lectures, classroom activities and lab based practicals.
At the end of this course, trainees will:
Demonstrate the basic downstream purification techniques and best practice expected of early career scientists and experienced operators.
Support this practical knowledge with a theoretical understanding of key downstream processing concepts.
