In this advanced course, trainees develop greater understanding of downstream processing techniques with a particular focus on emerging trends and disruptive technologies. Course content is tailored toward purification strategies for recombinant proteins and AAVs. Learning achieved by lectures, classroom activities and laboratory demonstrations.
At the end of this course, trainees will:
Have a deep understanding of the theory behind downstream bioprocessing techniques.
Increase their own awareness of disruptive technologies and emerging industry trends.
Understand how to apply this knowledge by designing a process flow diagram for production of an example therapeutic.
Includes VR taining experience and digital knowledge assessment and feedback platform.
